Today, Pat is a freelance writer. She is the author of Union Grove: The First Fifty Years , The Legacy of Two Legends and Bill Wells Bluegrass Ambassador . Pat has coauthored banjoist Butch Robins’s book, What I Know ’Bout What I Know . This book was nominated by the International Bluegrass Music Association as Print Media Personality of the Year for 2004. She has coauthored with Tut Taylor Tut Taylor: The Flat Pickin’ Dobro® Man and is the biographer of banjoist “Snuffy” Jenkins. Pat is co-founder of the South Carolina Bluegrass and Traditional Music Association and a past president. She served on the association’s board of directors from 1991 to 2006. She has had numerous articles printed through the years, some of which have appeared in the magazine Bluegrass Unlimited . In addition, she has written liner notes for several CDs.
